     Sojourner Truth Davidson reluctantly returns to her hometown when her grandmother dies, and she has every intention of leaving immediately after the funeral. But when Collectibles, the store that Sojo has just inherited is vandalized, her search for the culprit leads Sojo on a journey to uncover Goldsboro’s secrets.

     Naturally, she seeks help from the town’s delectable Sheriff. If only she can keep her lips…and hands…and…the rest of her body to herself.

     Mike Soyinka, Goldsboro’s Sheriff, has crushed on Sojo since he was 12 years old, but as his best friend’s older sister, she’s always been off-limits. But when she needs his help to fulfill her grandmother’s final request, he jumps at the chance to satisfy her every need.

     As Sojo and Mike work together to unlock Goldsboro’s secrets, they soon realize the sometimes childhood crushes lead to adulthood touches, even when that’s not part of the plan.
